A wonderful day of events will take place designed to empower, educate, and encourage women to adopt a healthy lifestyle and mindset.

We will have an enlightening “Couch Conversation” with our esteemed panelist Donna Miller- Cook County Board Commissioner 6th District, Carla Bonner – Health & Life Coach,

Melishia Bansa – Community Advocate, and facilitated by Samantha Chatman – Anchor/Investigative Reporter, ABC 7 Chicago.

What to expect:

There will be over 25 Vendors with a myriad of health and wellness resources and services, to include Health Screenings, Employment Opportunities, Financial Literacy, and Free Record Expungements to name a few.

There will be an opportunity for participants to explore some new skin care options, holistic herbs (sea-moss), and a free transit pass (for those who qualify).

In addition, the fun-factor will include DJ BrianFuriousFrazier for your listening pleasure and you can join us in Line Dancing the afternoon away!

Lunch will be provided while supplies last. There will be Give-a-ways, Raffles and more!

Educating the Youth

History will continue to repeat itself until you educate the youth about the dangers they will have to deal with, create a sense of unity with-in the community, and by getting the youth excited about the future.

Demonstrating how to protect and

be aware of dangerous situations.

Most people need very little help and guidance. It is stunning to us that there weren’t programs already established. It’ll be a grind to raise the quality of life for everyone in the community without allowing them the option of self-sovereignty.

Sense of Unity

The more you meet and interact with your local peers the less likely you are to startle or give them a reason to get you in trouble but even something as simple as recognizing somebody that you see regularly can calm anxiety significantly.
